Fernandes Iwasaki Diego Hideyuki

Hailing from Brazil, Diego Fernandes was born on September 3rd, 1995, and moved to Japan when he was 5 years old because of his parents who were living in the country. Growing up, Diego spent a lot of time listening to music, allured by the spell-binding force of Pop, Electro Pop and EDM- genres which he considered favorite. Drawing inspiration from the likes of icons, such as Justin Bieber, ZAYN and Zedd, Diego began creating his own cover songs, followed by an original take on the genre, with his first song, titled ‘’Believe’’. Curated in collaboration with music producer John Ho and talented songwriter Jimmy Burney, “Believe” featured the best of the artist’s musical prowess and composing skills. Diego’s musical voyage began in 2017 when he first attended a Music Festival in Japan called ‘Pop Spring’- fully enraptured and amazed by the thrilling performances of artists such as Shawn Mendes. A turning event in his life, the festival instilled within Diego a newfound sense of love, passion, and adoration for music, encouraging him to follow a career as a musician. Speaking Japanese, Portuguese, and English, Diego Fernandes is a talented and prolific artist, who brings with himself a unique style and vocal prowess which is unmatched in energy and melody. Exuding a vibe which is calm, catchy and energetic, through singles such as ''Believe'', the eclectic artist hopes to touch hearts and minds through music, encouraging listeners to believe in their dreams and never give up. With a unique positive energy and power, the artist hopes to motivate people, reminding that no matter how hard the times are, we always get through with ‘energy and power’. With music that matters, Diego hopes to break into Pop and Electronic with something new, melding together evocative lyricism and rhythmic compositions. Aiming to grow as an independent artist while also making collaborations with contemporary renowned musicians remains Diego Fernandes’ driving goal. He hopes to continue his musical journey, creating music and doing what he does best.
