For the past 15 years Terry has continuously impressed label executives and the rest of the world by finding and matching some of today’s most creative talent the music business has seen. He is known for his ability to identify, spot and elevate raw talent.  Today, he completely understands how to fulfill the role of the “traditional A&R.”  Terry has a natural ability to spot the “X” factor in undiscovered raw talent.

Prior to graduating from Cheyney University with his BA, Terry had already landed his first internship within 2002 Mr. Cheeks (The Lost Boys) 2004 he began his musical journey as A&R for the talented Roy “RH3” Hamilton III. While working with Roy, he co-wrote songs for Capitol’s recording artist Houston. Remaining focused to refine his skill, Terry began discovering talent and finding deals for them.

In 2005, he signed Farrah Franklin of Destiny’s Child to the Canadian label Seven Figure Music. During the year 2006, Terry produced “Off The Richter,”

“Move It,” and “Doe” By the Truckloads,” for Canadian Artist Shyclar. Next he went on to find Pittsburgh native producer Anthony Jones and signed him to Hit District publishing. Later that year he found Tasha Bradley and signed her to Rodney Jerkins Darkchild imprint and signed to Jive records under Mark Pitts. Terry’s hot streak of finding talent continued into 2007 & 2008 by signing Anthony Hargrove to Canadian label Suave Dog Entertainment then signing producer Phillip Rona Diggs signed TuneClique.

TuneClique/Darkchild/EMI Publishing. Tommy Brown went on to produce “Just Can’t Get Enough” for The Black Eyed Peas and Tommy Lumpkin worked on Janet Jackson’s last album and wrote the hit single for Justin Bieber’s “Die In Your Arms” (Released 2012).  Next in 2010 Terry found and signed producer Dennis Angnee Jenkins to Rodney Jerkins’ Darkchild Entertainment as a producer and signed to International Music Publishing. Dennis most recently produced Justin Bieber’s hit single song “Die In Your Arms.”(Released 2012) Terry also found Alvin Garrett and got him signed to Jenkins Music Group.  Alvin was nominated for a Grammy in early 2012 for the “Bring Your Praise,” which he wrote for Trin-Tee 5 7.

Buzz 2013 Alicia Renee inked a deal with Seventy7 Music Publishing as a songwriter, the musical songwriting team of TEE&GEE who have now worked on various projects under his guidance-tutelage. Terry signed former Roc-A-Fella Records artist Young Steff to an artist and publishing deal with Darkchild Entertainment.
