MAURICIO LONDOÑO or “Mauro” as he is known to his colleagues, has been involved in the radio and music industry for more than two decades. Working from radio to concerts, traditional media to digital, from the CD era to the digital playlists, as well as on the business and production side of the music industry.

His career started when was selected to host one of the biggest radio networks in the world “LOS 40 PRINCIPALES”, where he became the National Program Director for all affiliated radio networks in Colombia. At “Los 40 Principales”, Mauro developed several programming strategies which brought the station to the No. 1 spot radio in the country airing all national and international hits.

In 2015, Mauricio began to freelance as one of the first Latin Music Curator in Apple Music opening new markets in the U.S. and Latin America. At Apple Music, Mauricio was responsible for the creation of the artists’ essential playlists like Maluma, J Balvin, Ozuna, Shakira, Ricky Martin, Maná, Juan Luis Guerra, Romeo Santos, La Adictiva, Banda MS, Christian Nodal, and many more.

Following the success as a Latin Music Curator at Apple Music, Mauricio biggest breakthrough was when he was approached by “LaMusica App” to lead important projects as the Producer and Director of Digital Music. LaMusica App is the No.1 free streaming service for U.S. Hispanics. At La Musica.com, Mauricio created – from concept to completion – LaMusica Original Podcast, with more than 100+ episodes featuring artists like Rauw Alejandro, Mau y Ricky, Luis Fonsi, Black Eyed Peas, Tainy, Sky Rompiendo, J Balvin, Natti Natasha, El Alfa, Sebastian Yatrá, Carlos Vives, Jesse & Joy, Gente De Zona, Manuel Turizo, Sky Rompiendo. Mauricio became an important personality at the radio curating and maintaining 110+ playlists for Latin US, including Reggaetón, Bachata, Tropical, Regional Mexican, Salsa, Merengue, Guaracha, Latin Pop, and many more.
